How do I contact the clinic?
Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. We kindly request that you call during these hours. For medical emergencies or urgent issues outside of business hours, we have clinical staff available. Please note that the after-hours service is strictly for emergencies, and no medication changes will be addressed during this time.Where are you located?
Our clinic is situated in Birmingham, AL, approximately one mile from the I-65 exit on Valleydale Road. How do I schedule an appointment? Do I need a referral?
To schedule an appointment, please reach out to our office directly. We accept both self-referrals and referrals from other healthcare providers.Does my insurance cover your doctors?
Medicare and most major insurance providers offer partial coverage for our medical treatments. Coverage for required psychology visits may vary. We recommend confirming coverage details with your insurance provider. We also accommodate self-pay patients on a fee-for-service basis. While we bill insurance companies as a courtesy, patients are responsible for copays and deductibles at the time of service. What kinds of pain do you treat?
Our clinic specializes in treating various forms of non-cancer chronic pain. While we don't provide acute pain care, we do treat conditions such as chronic low back pain, neck pain, arm and leg pain, herniated discs, arthritis, fibromyalgia, migraines, headaches, reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD or CRPS), diabetic neuropathy, joint pain, pelvic pain, abdominal pain, and more. What should I expect for the intake process?
Upon receiving a referral, whether self-referred or from another physician, we review the documents and request additional information if needed. We then verify insurance, if applicable. New patients receive a mailed letter outlining the intake process, scheduled appointment dates, and an estimate of out-of-pocket costs based on insurance review. After receiving this letter, patients can contact us by phone to confirm appointment dates and times if they wish to proceed.
